I was first introduced to Children of Destiny Nicaragua (CODN) when I came on site with a short-term mission’s team from my home church in the summer of 2015. While I was only in country for ten days, God used that time to truly reshape my heart and my relationship with him. I quickly fell in love with the ministry, children and country. I found myself living at the home in Jinotega as a volunteer for five months in 2016 and have been tied into the ministry ever since.

My primary work with the ministry focuses around budgeting, financial oversight, grant writing, and fundraising. Additionally, during the summers, I often host teams from the U.S. and coordinate activities for the teams while in country.

I am thankful for the opportunity to work so closely with such a great ministry and our entire leadership truly believes that God has great plans for these children.
