Since 1998 we have been using feeding programs to reach out into the Nicaraguan communities with the gospel. These have been an effective tool to teach the Word of God and demonstrate His love through meeting their physical needs while also building a spiritual foundation.
We are in the process of reorganizing our feeding programs. One exciting new focus is in the Los Brasiles community. A beautiful new structure has been built in Los Brasiles including a feeding shelter and kitchen area. Our plans are to plant a church with a local pastor, using the feeding program to reach the community for Christ.

| We have also been reaching some local communities near our Los Cedros orphanage site with plans to establish Bible studies and eventually plant churches.
We are passionate about reaching the most remote and poverty-stricken communities. James 2:14-16 says “What good is it, brothers, if a man claims to have faith with but no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?”
We have found that it is a powerful witnessing tool to combine simple practical assistance with the Word of God. |
